Georgia
I had the summer of a lifetime last year, spending a good 7-8 weeks on the road between May and October. I am finally getting to look through some of the images that I shot for myself. I'll try and commit to posting images from those travels, as I have thousands that I have hardly looked through.
On one of those trips that I took alone, I had the opportunity to drive from Jacksonville, FL to Augusta, GA, and then on to Atlanta a few days later. It was kind of an adventure-- I had never been to that part of the country and was traveling alone.
As I drove from Augusta to Atlanta, I headed due west directly into the sunset. The asphalt of the freeway reflected the golden light, and seemed to glow in front of me. That is probably one of my strongest memories of the summer.
