Moving Landscapes

I have started a new tumblr called Moving Landscapes where I have been posting iPhone images.  It will have some of the images I post to instagram, but not everything.  I will still be posting images taken with a real camera (not a telephone) here.

Desert Noises part 2

Desert Noises are on tour now.  Their new album, Mountain Sea is out now.  They also have a fourth band member now.  Oh well.  Here are a bunch of shots I did for them a few months back.

instagram

I have sorely neglected my blog over the summer, but not for lack of shooting.  I have been shooting constantly, it seems.  I still need to go through my personal work from the summer travels, but in the meantime, you can take a look and photos I have taken with a telephone.  I just figured out how to view my instagram photos online.  Pretty cool to see them bigger than a phone screen.

If anyone cares to follow me on instagram, my username is westoncolton.  Look it up.  Thanks.

Desert Noises - Mountain Sea vinyl release

Desert Noises Vinyl Release w/The Mighty Sequoyah/Lake Island/Sayde Price
TONIGHT!!!

Desert Noises are having a release show for their new album Mountain Sea tonight at Muse Music in Provo, UT.  The show starts at 8 p.m.
I did the photos for the album art, as well as some promo photos for the band, and the design and layout was done by Jory Dayne.  The record release is a limited edition run of 300, pressed in white vinyl.  Very cool.  A CD is also included with the vinyl (not with the digipak case).
Pardon the phone photos below, but I wanted to at least show how rad this album looks.
If you haven't heard the band, go check them out here http://www.desertnoisesmusic.com/
