Gila Valley Temple, AZ

A couple weeks ago I was in 90 degree weather in Arizona assisting and shooting the Gila Valley Temple.  Of course in Utah, it snowed two days ago.
The Temple open house is on now.  If you are in Arizona, you should check it out.  If not, go here to see more photos.
I was on the job to assist, but I got the chance to shoot a second angle of the temple exterior.  This is my only photo on the site.  (The version on the site was processed by someone else).  The other shots are by John Luke.

Solomon, AZ

I'm in Arizona working this week.  Felt a bit like Mexico in Solomon.  We found this cool old church.  (Just when Sam told me I was cool for shooting the opposite of old, run down buildings, I shot this-- before I had even read his comment.  I blew it).
Also feeling a bit Lee Friedlander driving around rural Arizona, shooting out the car window-- (check my shadow in the Chevys shot).

American made...  I love the '55 Bel Air.  And my grandma used to drive a Corvette just like this, except hers was yellow.

I doubt the restaurants in Mexico say "mexican food".

Post 300.  My fascination with the passing landscape continues.

Jory Dayne

Jory is an extraordinary designer and illustrator.  I got to spend a good 5 days or so in a car/boat/hotel with him, and to his dismay, he kept finding his way into my frame.
Check out his work:  design; illustration.
