"Dirty" Sean Hadley killed everything in sight and won the SLUG Mag Summer of Death skate contest today. These shots are from the contest--it was a street skating contest at 3 different spots around Salt Lake City. The cops rolled in on the last spot (handrail), but not before Hads front noseslid the rail and backside bigspin flipped the stairs. I thought the kickflip wallride was the best trick of the day.
I was assigned to shoot some photos to be used on posters to promote the upcoming opening of the Losee Center at UVU (aka the old library). The posters will be up around campus, so keep an eye out. The excellent design was done by Jory Dayne.
I spent the weekend in San Jose and San Francisco. I had some photos in a group photography show held at Empire Seven Gallery in San Jose. Sam Milianta, David Law and myself drove out for the the opening. It was pretty awesome. I'll post more photos soon. Here I am in front of my photos...Polaroid by Keith A. Wilson. Thanks Keith.
The August issue of SLUG Mag just dropped with a story on Matt Fisher. We worked hard for a couple months and got some great photos. Due to limited space, the mag could only run 3 of the photos. Matt killed everything I put in front of him, and here is the photographic evidence.
